EUR: one of the top neighborhoods in Rome
A special location
Our latest photo shoot took place in a beautiful neighborhood of Rome: EUR. This area is famous for its modernist architecture, which made the perfect backdrop for the shooting. We believe that creating great photos is an essential aspect of presenting our brand, our leather bags and what we want to communicate. Photos allow us to create a special connection with our customers on an emotional level. Seeing our handbags in action and on real people can help customers imagine themselves. In line with this vision, we plan our photo shoots very carefully, choosing the right place and the best day.
The EUR, which stands for the “Esposizione Universale di Roma” was originally planned to be the site of a world exhibition in 1942. However, the event was canceled due to the outbreak of World War II and the area it was finally completed in the 1950s.
The unique architecture of EUR
Today EUR is a modern and elegant area, home of large corporations, banks and important institutions. The area offers a great blend of modernity and history, with sleek glass skyscrapers and high-tech facilities alongside grand monuments and public squares. It is easily accessible by public transportation and offers a wide range of restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions.
One of the most striking features of EUR is its architecture. The buildings are characterized by their modernist style, with clean lines and simple shapes. The most iconic is the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, also known as the “Square Colosseum” for its resemblance to the ancient Roman monument. Another highlight of the EUR zone are its parks and green spaces.
The neighborhood is home to a large central park with a lake, a children’s playgrounds, and a few walking and biking trails. The park is a popular spot for both locals and tourists and is a great place to relax.
The photoshoot
The backdrop of the beautiful architecture of EUR was ideal for taking pictures of our new crossbody leather bag Linda. The photo shoot captures the rational and elegant nature of the new bag, showing it in different colors: cherry, magenta, black, orange and much others. The photos highlighting the attention to detail in their design.
Our models – including Francesca Del Giudice – were dressed in classic pieces and neutral tones, which paired perfectly with the crossbody bags. The new Linda was also photographed playing with the clean geometries of the architecture of the EUR buildings, giving rise to truly surprising shots.
